Thavinjal St. Mary's Church: Mananthavady, Wayanad, Kerala, India; St. Mary's Church, Thavinjal, erected in 1951, belongs to the Diocese of Mananthavady, situated 5 kms. away from Mananthavady Town, comes in the area of Thavinjal Grama Panchayath. At Present there are 405 Families with a total population of 2200 parishioners. Most of the families are small scale agricultural farmers and laborers, The Mt. Carmel Parish Thalapuzah (CMI 1973), The Infant Jesus Parish Karimani (CST 1990) and the Little Flower Parish Muttirreei (2006) were erected from bifurcating the mother parish of Thavinjal .
